Training of employees

We perform training and professional preparation in the area of fire and explosion protection. Both the scope and content of trainings are highly variable and are always tailored to suit the particular operation. We are not the “standard readers” – we try to make sure that the employees really learn something.

Mandatory trainings – fire protection

Each employer is obliged to ensure corresponding level of fire protection adequate to the performed activities, risks, and nature of the workplace. The workplace classification into the fire hazard category is decisive.

Activities without increased fire hazard

Training of employees in these activities is performed by relevant managers based on the internal documents (Fire protection organization). We recommend that at least the managers are initially trained by a person qualified in the area of fire protection. We will be happy to help with that.

Activities with increased fire hazard

As regards the activities with increased fire hazard, it is mandatory to ensure training of employees, managers, employees responsible for supervision or surveillance outside working hours, and persons responsible for prevention in the field of fire protection through a qualified person or through fire protection technician:

• person with professional qualification or fire protection technician train the managers in fire protection (every 3 years)
• person with professional qualification or fire protection technician perform the professional training of persons responsible for prevention in the field of fire protection and employees assigned to preventive fire patrols (annually)
• trained manager or person responsible for prevention in the field of fire protection train other employees in the field of fire protection (every 2 years)

Activities with high fire hazard

As regards the activities with high fire hazard, it is mandatory to ensure training of employees, managers, employees responsible for supervision or surveillance outside working hours, and persons responsible for prevention in the field of fire protection and members of preventive fire patrols through a qualified person or through fire protection technician:

• person with professional qualification or fire protection technician train managers in fire protection (every 3 years)
• person with professional qualification ensures professional preparation of persons responsible for prevention in the field of fire protection and employees assigned to preventive fire patrols (annually)
• person with professional qualification or fire protection technician or trained manager perform training of other employees in fire protection (annually)

Competent training provider

We hold the certificate of person with professional qualification in the field of fire protection (including professional qualification of fire protection technician). We can therefore ensure all of the above-mentioned training through a qualified person.

We know that it is not easy to maintain perfect overview of training terms and deadlines. Many companies deal with this problem by training their staff every year through person with relevant professional qualification. It is true that “practice makes perfect”, however, too frequent trainings can miss the purpose as the employees know them by heart without realizing their content. This applies especially if the training consists only in reading the Labour Code and Fire Protection Act sections.

We therefore offer execution of a service agreement. We will keep an eye on all training terms and deadlines and alert you in advance. Payments can be made annually or after every training; it depends on you.
